音乐剧《悲惨世界》根据法国大文豪维克多·雨果1862年发表的同名长篇小说改编，由法国音乐剧作曲家克劳德-米歇尔·勋伯格和阿兰·鲍伯利（Alain Boublil）共同创作。
此剧曾被英国BBC电台第二台的听众选为“全国第一不可或缺的音乐剧，与《猫》、《歌剧魅影》和《西贡小姐》一同被认为是20世纪80年代以来，欧洲最具影响力的音乐剧。
Ramin Karimloo（莱明·卡莱姆罗），伊朗裔加拿大籍男高音、音乐剧演员、词曲创作者、音乐制作人、戏剧演员。代表作品有《悲惨世界》、《歌剧魅影》、《爱无止尽》及《西贡小姐》等。“拉面”的歌声融合了流行音乐的情感与声乐的戏剧张力。
