《Window Seat》
The countryside looks like a quilt, all the cities look like building blocks with mirrors.
My neighbor in the next seat has his headphones loud enough for me to hear.
One more hour til Seattle says the stewardess over the microphone.
My window is my TV like I’m sitting in my living room alone.
I’m all alone.
I get so lost when I change my TV screen, my mind lets go of what’s been bugging me.
Oh what’s been bugging me. The country roads below and endless fog is quite the scenery.
Quite the scenery.Before you know it I’ll be back.
But until then I will be an adventurer and no less than that.
No less than that.
The plane flies low, surprising sunny day and I can see the fixtures coming in across the bay.
My hotel’s only five miles away.
There’s just something about this city I can’t explain.
