【英伦摇滚】Pulp - Common People
从戏谑的叙事到愤怒的控诉，Jarvis只用了一首歌的时间。此曲敏锐地映射了彼时英国或者此时中国的时代精神。
Pulp乐队，来自于英国工业重镇谢非尔德，组建于70年代末，灵魂人物Jarvis Cooker；乐队酷似80年代的电子合成器音效，而专辑中又加上了大量醒耳的舞曲节拍。从他们的音乐中可以找到Roxy Music和David Bowie在电子乐和舞曲方面对他们的影响。
这张发行于1995年的专辑《Different Class》巧妙地融汇了Disco音乐而显得格外地光怪陆离和迷人。
