Alex Lloyd，1974年11月生于悉尼，澳大利亚创作型歌手，曾两度赢得ARIA奖的“年度男歌手奖”。1999年发行处女作《Black The Sun》小试锋芒；2001年推出第二张作品《Watching Angels Mend》，一举突破双白金销售量，接连数首单曲打入流行榜，成为澳洲最为耀眼的新秀之一。
《Good in the Face of a Stranger》是Alex Lloyd的第五张专辑，也是他独立发行的第一张专辑，提供给了他更多的创作自由。
