专辑封面是一颗渴望突破灰暗生活向往碰触天空的树。韦恩喷泉乐队(Fountains of Wayne)主唱清澈中带点变扭的声音，喷涌出一种青春期向成年期过渡的感觉。
Fountains of Wayne成立于1996年，由亚当.施辛格（Adam Schlesinger）和克里斯.克林伍德（Chris Collingwood）组建，后来又补充了乔迪.波特（Jody Porter）以及布莱恩.杨（Brian Young）。1999年第二张专辑《Utopia Parkway》被多个杂志媒体评选为“年度最佳”之一，2003年第三张专辑《Welcome Interstate Managers》获格莱美提名。
