Rachael Yamagata（山形瑞秋），美国创作歌手，父亲是日裔、母亲是德国、意大利混血。她曾担任芝加哥的funk-fusion乐团 “Bumpus ”的主唱，并在六年间，录制了三张乐团专辑，在美国各地巡回。2001年，在写了数首与乐团曲风不和的歌曲后，瑞秋决定带着这些歌开始个人演唱生涯。2004年6月，推出首张个人专辑《Happenstance（偶遇）》。瑞秋的歌曲曾出现在多部电影与电视系列剧中。
