unto ashes是Projekt旗下一支另类中世纪民谣团体，成立于1997年。乐队名“Unto Ashes”取自17世纪英国诗人Fulke Greville的一句诗词“To all this glory unto ashes must”，意为世上所有的一切都将腐败、衰亡直至化为灰烬。他们的音乐迷离、神秘，充满异域风情。
乐队运用了大量的民族器乐、洋琴、胡琴、竖琴、阿拉伯及打击乐器，并结合了现代化的音乐结构和编排，营造出一种难以言状的奇妙氛围。
