改编自英国诗人Eleanor Farjeon的一首英文诗。歌曲向我们表达了对世界、对生活的赞美和热爱之情，赞美一个美好的一天之起始。
此曲是上世纪70年代英国民谣摇滚歌手 Cat Stevens 的代表作之一，收录在个人第五张录音室专辑《Teaser and the Firecat》（1971年）中。钢琴伴奏为英国著名摇滚乐队Yes键盘手Rick Wakeman。
