第87届奥斯卡「最佳原创歌曲」由历史传记题材电影《Selma》（塞尔玛）主题曲《Glory》获得。该曲由说唱歌手Common作词，John Legend作曲，两人更是联手演绎，唱亮了这道荣耀之光。现场许多嘉宾起立、拥抱，鼓掌长达1分钟；克里斯·派恩也感动得泪流满面。
这首《Glory》此前已获得金球奖的最佳原创歌曲。
