《Crying in the rain》是乡村音乐的经典作品，由颇具传奇色彩的民谣女歌手Carole King词曲。这首歌早在1962年就为The Everly Brothers赢得Billboard #6的佳绩，后来Simon & Garfunkle也翻唱过。挪威的Pop Rock组合A-Ha在90年代推出的版本对舒缓深情的原曲有颠覆性改编。
Carole King（卡洛尔·金），美国殿堂级歌手及作曲人。她和丈夫格里·戈芬(Gerry Goffin)在60年代写了20多首热门歌曲，她的专辑《挂毯》(Tapestry)于1971年高据美国音乐专辑榜榜首15个星期，并留在专辑榜超过 6年。她赢得了4个格莱美奖并入选了创作人名人堂和摇滚名人堂。
