Kesang出生于纽约Woodstock，民谣创作歌手。她母亲是丹麦人，父亲则是藏族人；不同的文化背景造就了Kesang在音乐上独特的灵感，幼年时曾梦想成为一个古典钢琴演奏家和作曲家。2008年发行了首张专辑《Bodega Rose》。
